Salma Series: The girl that new much...
It started with a friendship that looked unbreakable from the outside — Salma and Naila. They had known each other since Form 1, laughed at the same memes, shared clothes, skipped classes together, and cried over silly boys. But if only Salma knew that the person who knew her deepest secrets would one day use them as weapons.
Salma had fallen for a boy named Saif — quiet, tall, mysterious. He wasn’t the type to entertain every girl, which made Salma feel lucky. He would text her every night, calling her "his peace." But the peace ended the moment Naila got involved.
It started small — Naila asking questions like, “Do you really think he loves you?” or “Why doesn’t he post you?” Salma brushed it off, thinking it was normal jealousy. But the signs became louder. Naila was always online when Saif was. Sometimes she'd say things like, “I was just checking his status, not texting him.” But something in her tone was always too casual.
One evening, Salma logged into her cousin’s TikTok only to find a video that shattered her. It was a video of Saif and Naila at a mutual friend’s birthday party. Saif was laughing in a way Salma hadn’t seen in months. His arm was casually around Naila’s waist. In the background, someone had typed: “The real couple finally out.”
Salma didn’t cry. Not yet.
She waited.
She invited Naila over, pretending nothing was wrong. Naila came, as usual, wearing Salma’s jacket. They laughed, ate noodles, and watched a K-drama. Then Salma asked, “Do you like Saif?” Naila blinked, hesitated, then lied. “No, never. You’re overthinking.”
That night, Salma stayed up and messaged Saif from a new number: “Hey babe, I missed you. When are you coming over again?”
He replied: “Naila? Stop playing. You know I can’t sneak out tonight. I told you I’d come Saturday.”
The truth hit hard.
Not just the betrayal — but the performance Naila gave every day like nothing was happening.
The next morning, Salma posted a picture with Saif’s ex. The caption was clear: “Let’s trade secrets, since they were trading hearts behind our backs.” The post went viral.
Saif ghosted both of them. Naila blocked Salma. But it wasn’t over.
Weeks later, Salma received a brown envelope in her college locker. Inside was a photo of her and her new crush — taken from a distance. And a note: “Be careful who you trust. The friend who knows too much can become your worst enemy.”
She turned, looked around, but the hallway was empty.
And just like that, the game of revenge began…

I love that part "let's trade secrets' that was my best catch!
